Say the words Taiwan and Festival in one sentence and you know it’s going to be bright and interesting. And since this Taiwan Festival is a Food Festival, let’s add in the word delicious too! It has been set up at the Tokyo Tower South Carpark, and is on from 3 Dec 2021 to 16 Jan 2022.

What kind of shops and stalls do they have?
I saw one drink stall, a number of food stalls and a couple of shops as well. Nearby, there are also tables and stand-only counter-type tables where people can eat.
Drinks
If you are facing the 2 Taiwanese mail boxes in the middle, the drink stall is on the right – you can’t miss it. This is also where you have to redeem your drink.
Food
The ever-popular Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) and Gyoza (dumpling) food stalls are there as you would expect, but there are also other things like the Oyster Omelette and Dou Hua (beancurd) to try!
Shops
There are a few shops, some selling things like Taiwanese pineapple cakes and Taiwanese canned drinks, and others with games that people can play. And because I was there on New Year’s Day, they also had a copy of the Taiwan Newspaper New Year edition.
So if you like festivals, especially food festivals, go check out this Taiwan Festival! There’s still time!
